Youth Mediation Programme within the MYCDIC Institutional Ecosystem
Youth Mediator develops a multidisciplinary network of people who can support cases, institutional facilitation and responsible referral under clear standards of conduct.
The network can include mediators, case officers, institutional liaisons, language specialists and subject-matter experts. Roles are not interchangeable: each person should be assigned only to tasks for which they have the necessary competence and authorization.
A suitable profile considers language, country context, case type, experience, current workload and possible conflicts of interest. Joining the network does not guarantee case assignment and does not create automatic access to confidential information.
Network members are expected to respect confidentiality, maintain accurate records, avoid unauthorized promises, follow safeguarding procedures and escalate concerns through the appropriate internal channel.
Cases and institutional matters may require different combinations of mediation, administration, language support or subject expertise.
Supports structured dialogue and case engagement within the scope of an assigned matter and declared conflict status.
Coordinates records, actions, deadlines and communication without assuming the substantive role of the mediator.
Supports formal coordination where organizations or programme structures require a clear institutional communication route.
Language, case type, country context, availability, workload, professional background and conflicts of interest can all affect suitability for a particular assignment.
